Assisting both the Asset Management and Collections teams, I was responsible for providing administrative support to the Collection team including Recoveries and the Asset Management team and cross-team core activities.This included:Preparing appropriate and various information packs in the support of our customers e.g. forbearance; Novation; Reschedules & Repossession. Preparing write off rationale and forms for sanction.Managing the day to day instructions for our outsourced Agencies and resolve or escalate queries.

Selected by the founding member of the firm, I manage the day to day administrative activities of the business. My attention to detail and planning skills allow me to effectively manage a diverse range of tasks ensuring that all are delivered on time. These include dealing with client and police enquiries, ensuring legal documentation is received by counsel and court agents whilst always making sure that the privacy and security of the documentation is maintained at all times. My activities are key to keeping the business running smoothly, providing great customer service and satisfaction, which helps to minimize the stress for all involved in what can be a highly stressful period event. I saw an opportunity to reduce costs for the business, I encouraged the firm to go paperless which, allowed us to more efficiently prepare papers to be sent and work more remotely away from the office.

Acting as a first point of contact for clients and other colleagues within the criminal justice system, my work centered around managing legal visit appointments, ensuring that the tight deadlines of submission of court documents and legal paperwork was met. As the first member of the business that any clients attending the office would meet, I made sure that all enquiries were dealt with promptly. Handling any complaints that arose as to the conduct of any solicitors or counsel, this required me to speak to the parties involved to understand the issues and if necessary to be escalated to the supervisor of the firm.
