Work with patients and customers to help them understand drug coverage across different payor types and treatment sites Work within existing Case Management structure owning the denied patient cases and resolving the barriers to treatment accessDevelop strategic exit plans for Alexion Access Foundation patient cases and work to move them on to other funding avenuesDevelop and implement training for new hire and advance training for Case Managers as it relates to access Inform case managers of new programs and information related to accessCommunicate and partner directly with internal cross-functional departments including: OneSource , Director of National Accounts (DNAs) and Government Affairs Department in order to prioritize tasks, organize, and manage multiple projects related to access barriersCommunicate frequently and effectively with case management team and managementProvide regular updates to Managers Case Management regarding any outstanding access issuesProduce well-written documents, PowerPoint presentations, and Excel spreadsheets that communicate key points in a clear and concise formatCreate and maintain an access databaseDevelop and implement pertinent funding work processes and policies for Case Management Participate in and complete required pharmacovigilance trainingIdentify those areas of work and standard operating procedures related to pharmacovigilanceFloat and assist aligned regional CM with cases as needed
