Served as evaluation and relationship lead for Cigna Foundation and its grantees by providing consultative analysis and guidance to The Cigna Group Foundation network of nonprofit partners, Cigna marketing, communications, and local market leadership to improve health equity around the globe. Utilized evidence driven public health theories and interventions combined with innovative techniques, my team trusts me to identify and amplify the work of local non-profits to create sustainable improvements in our communities by driving the reduction and/or elimination of social determinants of health and by eliminating barriers and improving access to care for all.

Provided bilingual in-person coaching to over 1000 Marriott employees, focusing on chronic disease management, nutrition, fitness, and mental health. Achieved a success rate of over 90% in accomplishing action plan goals, resulting in improvements such as lower A1Cs, weight, and lipids. Trained new hire onsite coaches to enhance their proficiency with HealthEView, CHC ICMS, Renaissance, OLAM, and standard operating procedures. Led innovative pilot projects that evolved into team programs and tools, including SharePoint, the Lync’d Up project, and video coaching via MD Live. Developed training materials, SOPs, and guidelines for MD Live video coaching, providing training to team members, site Directors of Human Resources, and new teams adopting the product. Presented nationally on Cigna’s product, sales, and the Onsite Ambassador program, engaging with Marriott Corporate Personnel. Coordinated annual health and benefits fairs, featuring vendors, biometric screenings, influenza immunizations, and blood donation drives for over 1000 employees across two Marriott properties. Customized and implemented 12-week weight loss, nutrition, or physical activity challenges at both locations

Delivered employee worksite wellness activities, such as walking clubs, fitness challenges (5Ks to half marathon), weight management programs, healthy cooking demonstrations, and safe lifting. Decreased the tobacco use rate on Laughlin by 8% in 4 years. Selected by major command to conduct training the trainer t-cons with new Health Education Program Managers. Developed yearly Healthy Airman Report depicting the health status of our Airman. Report is sent to major command. Served as Health Promotion Advisor to the base clinic, base commander, base community, and its agencies.Developed the Medical Group instruction guide on tobacco cessation to guide program execution.
