Griselda is a friendly and outgoing person, who likes to give back to the community in many ways. Throughout the past six years, she has been active in playing Basketball and in Cheerleading for two years in and out of school. Also, at her local church Gateway of Deliverance, she has been active as a dance teacher for five years, acting for three years, and youth event planning for two years. Overall all these activities have expanded her communication, responsibility, and leadership skills with a team. Griselda is fluent in both Spanish and English and has taken advanced courses such as Biology, Technical Writing and Foreign Language (up to Spanish 5).These past few years Griselda has been leaning to be active in Child Healthcare since, she has been around many kids that struggle with their health. Which has shaped her path into becoming a pediatrician and study at the University of North Texas, where she is currently pursuing her BA in Biology. Griselda has applied to several medical hospitals to volunteer as information desks, intensive care, and patient care tech. In which, she will grasp a better understanding of the healthcare field and apply her event planning, organization, and technical skills.Throughout Griselda’s last few jobs she has gained many experiences in which has acquired her customer service, flexibility, and communication skill in which she will apply into her volunteer work and expand her skills while working in different hospitals.
