Office Administrator
CurrentManage the daily office operations, including front- and back-office functions, insurance verification, billing/invoicing, monitoring/maintaining patient care management and goals, and reviewing key financial and revenue cycle metrics including staff hours, resource allocation, expense budget, patient volumes, and the revenue cycle process. Monitor patient satisfaction, address/resolve patient complaints, and ensure quality and performance improvement by monitoring metrics and addressing deficiencies.• Work collaboratively with office staff, physicians, leadership, and health professionals to accomplish organization goals, while driving compliance with regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures.• Manage scheduling, book/confirm appointments, conduct data entry, answer calls, obtain/record treatment information, and fill out insurance forms; work with lawyers and insurance companies.• Review and verify patient insurance and prior authorizations, set-up authorizations, obtained referrals, and followed up on pending approvals.• Perform payment reconciliation/deposits, take co-payments, deliver billings, and create/update files and records; maintain, track, and purchased office supplies and materials as needed.• Leverage knowledge of medical terminology, diagnosis, lab procedures, and Electronic Medical Record (EMR), as well as an understanding of MVA and rehabilitation protocols; track/update MVA cases.
