My practice specializes in the care of sports injuries, diabetic wound management, and treating both common and complex disorders of the foot and ankle. I am the sole on call foot and ankle surgeon for a critical access hospital in rural southern California. My training has exposed me to a wide variety of foot and ankle pathology. My education includes an undergraduate degree in Computer Engineering from California State University, Sacramento. I obtained my Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from California School of Podiatric Medicine based in the San Francisco Bay Area and graduated with honors. My residency training brought me to Sacramento where I trained at Kaiser hospitals in Roseville, Sacramento and South Sacramento. Prior to coming to Ridgecrest, I worked at Kaiser South Sacramento hospital as a foot and ankle attending surgeon. I always try to engage my patients to better understand their point of view, and ease their pain to the best of my ability. For me, working at Ridgecrest Regional hospital gives me the opportunity to enjoy the slower pace of life, less traffic and pollution, and provide care to an underserved community deserving of high quality medical and surgical care. I have been freelancing as a Software Consultant given my background in programming and development.
