In my 6 years at Tango I built a large, dedicated, cohesive and successful team covering almost the full breadth of the NetWeaver platform coupled with related support services. When I started at Tango I had a team of one and Tango had a small number of customers, when I left the number of customers had grown to over 30 and my team to 20 and we were successfully delivering on any number of Support Services and Projects. One such project was the migration of the Kordia SAP platform, as detailed below, and I am proud of it as the customer was so pleased with the service and outcome they agreed to work with Microsoft to produce the case study referenced.

Worked with the business to get more value out of their multiple SAP systems and one major success was architecting a Benefits Tracking system running on the SAP BI platform that was used by 400+ users and drove some real cost savings in the business.Worked on a number of other large projects providing architectural and implementation input while working as a Senior Basis administrator for the full ECC and BI environment performing all related Basis tasks including Oracle and Unix support. One such project had a budget of close to 1/2 a Billion Euros!

Orbian was a start-up company when I joined, it was a joint venture involving SAP and Citi Bank and was one of the few Dotcoms to survive the Dotcom crash. My role there was to take the company through the design and build phases and to the delivery of a stable well supported SAP platform. I worked alongside the SAP and Banking specialists to create the Orbian system.My role involved SAP Architecture, system migrations and installs, the installation and maintenance of a number of separate SAP systems along with designing and initiating of support processes, project input and support all while working with outsourced hardware and a number of separate project parties.

PTS is a SAP Basis consulting company whose main focus is providing trainers for SAP training centres. My role with PTS was as a Senior Basis consultant and SAP Trainer. RealTech is a worldwide Basis consulting company with over 500 Basis consultants and I started my career in SAP at Realtech and I my first exposure was 3 months in Waldorf receiving full in depth SAP Basis Training. On my arrival back in NZ I took over the support of Griffins who were having a number of problems with their platform and we ended up doing the first SQL 6.5 -> SQL 7.0 upgrade in the world, which was an exciting way to start my Basis career. Post Griffins I became a more senior consultant and worked on a number of customers in parallel including a number of green field projects on various hardware, operating and database platforms.My role involved:• Managing a number of SAP customers concurrently providing technical support and lead for junior consultants • SAP R/3 upgrades across a number of platforms and releases• Database Administration (backups, restores, reorgs, scripts, SQL tuning, Oracle upgrades, operating system upgrades, disk layouts)• SQL Server 6.5 - 7.0 upgrades (first upgrade in the world after general release of 7.0) • Presented SQL Server training courses for Microsoft and SAP in USA, Australia and New Zealand • Worked at Compaq’s head office in Houston on developing install guides and on Compaq hardware sizing for customers• Provided support for customers world wide• Project management• Training new consultants• Tuning and configuring existing systems • Training for SAP at Sapient College• SAP Installs and upgrades• Designing, implementing, testing backup strategies• Performing day to day monitoring• User maintenance and profile generation• Configuring and implementing security access • Installing and configuring additional hardware e.g. Printers and faxes

I worked on the design and build of the new billing and rating system for Bellsouth working alongside the business to design then implement a successful system that has only just been phased out at the end of 2012
