Developed curriculum for and teach an undergraduate course in Digital Supply Chain Management. This course provides business students with a deeper understanding of foundational and emerging technologies and how those technologies can be applied to supply chain areas from planning to fulfillment. Plato Learning is a world leading provider of K-12 curriculum and assessment products. My role was to synthesize a number of acquired platforms into a single, web hosted Learning Management System (LMS) capable of delivering new and legacy curriculum products.- Stabilized primary platform and designed replacement developed in C# with a SQL Server database- Designed and developed significant elements of Service Oriented Architecture for the platform including core services providing high concurrency for tracking usage and progress millions of students- Helped to implement significant changes to development process and communication within the department, with other departments, and with offshore resources substantially improving timeliness and productivity of delivery- Worked on product roadmap to provide order of magnitude estimates that served to guide business priority

Early in my career, I was a contract software developer for multiple companies in industries including manufacturing, finance, streaming media, and education technology. Highlights:- Developed a novel assessment item types for high stakes testing of English as a Second Language (ESL) working with psychometricians to ensure validity. Used COM interop in a Java platform. Product was awarded MHTA Tekne award in education category- Designed and led development of platform for exposing county government systems to the public through a composable platform. Worked with vendors and internal systems to expose existing data through a web platform. Technologies included Microsoft .Net/C#, SQL Server, and Web Technologies integrated with GIS mapping platforms and internal AS/400 applications.- Developed streaming media client for global broadcasting of live and recorded events using Visual Basic and various web technologies. - Developed desktop applications for a nationwide brokerage that including distribution of real time quotes and news feeds using C++ and Visual Basic.
