About John Groves
Music was my first love. As a composer of jingles and music for advertising, I have always been interested in how sound and music influences our perception. I specialize in Sound Branding which, as well as being a structured approach to using sound for communicating, introduces metrics into the equation to verify that the sound signals get correctly decoded.I became interested in the positive effect that sound and music can have on our health, which has led me to develop a mental wellness app called SonicTonic. It blends a number of well-documented techniques into Healing Soundscapes for helping people cope with stress, anxiety, and other mind-based health issues. I consider the potential of sound for improving our health to be grossly underrated and I see huge potential in promoting some powerful auditory therapy methods. The SonicTonic app can improve the way we think and feel, and help people all over the world to sleep better and to manage their stress. I’m still very much involved in the administration and overseeing of our Sound Branding company, but thanks to my awesome team, I have enough time to work on my new love; my healthcare app, SonicTonic.Thanks for reading to the end.
