I am a dedicated Pediatric Pulmonologist, Researcher, and Healthcare Innovator passionate about lifelong learning. My commitment to evidence-based, culturally sensitive, and patient-centered care fuels my drive for innovation and education in healthcare. I specialize in providing expert consultation services, diagnosing complex cases, and leading groundbreaking research in pediatric pulmonology.Currently, I am spearheading the development of a patent-pending Smart Air Quality Monitor (SAQM), a prototype-ready, multi-sensor, portable device designed to act as an asthma inhaler's carrying case. The SAQM is capable of continuously monitoring known asthma triggers such as air pollutants (Ozone, NO2, SO2, VOC) and particulate matter (PM 2.5, PM 5), making it a valuable tool for individuals with asthma, COPD, and other respiratory illnesses triggered by environmental factors. In addition, I am working with "Access Pediatric" to establish the first Virtual First Pediatric Specialty Practice in the US. This initiative leverages wearable technologies, remote monitoring, remote diagnostics, and artificial intelligence to bridge a significant gap in the healthcare delivery system. As a Pediatric Lung Specialist, I evaluate and treat young patients with conditions such as asthma, pneumonia, and cystic fibrosis, and perform procedures like bronchoscopy and pulmonary function tests. While over 95% of pediatric lung specialists in the US are employed by large academic health systems, I chose to pivot my career in 2019 to join the 5% group, gaining freedom and work-life balance. As an independent contractor and entrepreneur, I continue to teach and pursue academic work in close collaboration with my peers.Fun fact: Before my career pivot in 2019, I was a burned-out physician. Now, my wellness index score is an excellent 86%, significantly higher than my peers in the 95% group. The physician wellness index is a new online self-assessment tool developed by the Mayo Clinic that measures six dimensions of distress and well-being in just nine questions. If you're a physician with an entrepreneurial mindset, an entrepreneur, or an investor interested in my projects, I'd love to connect with you.Key Specialties: Pediatric PulmonologyHealthcare InnovationMedical EducationPublic Health
