About Alan Spicer

I help people prepare for a worry-free retirement. The response I get from helping someone prepare for retirement and telling them they'll have enough is really energising. Most people think this starts a few years before you are ready to retire, but in reality this needs to start at the latest in your 30's. From simply getting structures right, maintaining savings plans to working on strategies, helping people understand SMSF's and the role they play for them is very rewarding. I also enjoy the really technical projects that go with helping small business owners. I'm the go to guy for projects such as setting up Employee Share Plans, dealing with International Tax Consequences as well as more complex business sales, including my favourite, deciding what to do with the proceeds.
