I am part of the global cloud, agility & testing practice, where I work at the intersection of quality assurance, DevOps/SRE/platform engineering, cloud, agility and artificial intelligence across numerous industries.As an architect I regularly work with internal and external teams, departments or whole organizations to improve delivery speed, quality and agililty. To achieve this, I start by discovering processes, tools and ways or working, then provide insights to potential improvements and finally lead transformation activities to enhance quality, velocity and/or reduce cost - whichever are deemed most critical. As part of these activities I advise C-level executives on innovation & technology strategy, coach teams and mentor individuals in the areas of automation testing, continuous integration & delivery, clean code, trunk based development, applications of AI in SDLC and agile methods.I mentored more than 150 mentees in clean code and clean design within a year with very high or exceptional mentee satisfaction. One of my transformations reduced manual testing costs by 40% for a FinTech customer, while speeding up release time from two hours to 30 minutes and increasing deployment frequency threefold - all thanks to the introduction of CI/CD practices and automation. I further created numerous customized solutions for presales and performed organization wide technology discoveries, which each lead to large multi-million dollar engagements.

u-blox provides semiconductor chips, modules, and IoT services that reliably locate and connect every thing. I worked in the test & measurement department of the Berlin branch which specializes in short range communication modules based on Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and NFC technologies for the automotive industry.I specified and built fully automated production/end-of-line and qualification tests for these modules, which had to enforce strict automotive quality expectations like low PPM failure rates. Development of these tests happened in C# on Windows and Python on customized embedded Linux boards. In total I took ownership of production tests for ten short range product families before gradually shifting my work towards defining and overseeing framework architecture, sub-project management and working on cross team alignment regarding development processes and tools as an architect.The DevOps working group was one of the key initiatives I co-founded, rooting for availability of CI/CD, build and artifact servers across development sites and teams. Over the years I streamlined the delivery process of the test and measurement team to a point where weekly on-site visits to a production site were not needed anymore, but self-service setup of provided production tests could be completed within minutes. I took an active part in introducing and improving development processes across other short range teams and represented quality assurance in external audits.

The Flight Test Instrumentation Group specialized in building hardware in the loop test equipment for aircraft manufacturers. During my tenure I was involved in building simulation & integration test equipment for slat flap control computers for the Airbus A350 & A400M series aircraft. As part of the real time development team, I developed testing frameworks in C for real time Linux operating systems, programmed various microcontrollers and optimized LabVIEW <> C interfaces in terms of stability and performance. My team was the first to adopt Scrum, which uncovered my preference for iterative working models and allowed me to serve as a Scrum Master for another team improving ways of working and resolving impediments. Apart from my involvements in HiL testing, I designed and created multiple experimental measurement tools in C# to enable efficient maintenance and served as a test manager for flying equipment built under DO-178B.Due to my preference for fully automated build processes, I spearheaded the initiative to introduce Jenkins CI to various teams. Apart from coordinating activities of 10 engineers, I managed 3rd party deliveries regarding scope & quality.
