My passion and superpower is bringing new ideas to life. I’m an entrepreneurial product and business leader particularly interested in applying AI/ML to solve really big problems. There’s nothing I love more than bringing together a group of talented people and working on something ambitious together. I thrive in fast-paced environments with high standards and in roles that require constant learning, creative thinking, leadership, and action. I’m personally and professionally interested in Climate Change, the Future of Work, Healthcare, and how advances in LLMs and other AI systems can help us build a cleaner, healthier world for the generations that come after us.Some of the things I love doing and am really good at:- Figuring out how to get from 0 to 1 on new ideas and thinking critically about the “Whys?”- Crafting a meaningful vision to attract talented people and align our efforts- Creating high-performing, psychologically safe environments for superstars to collaborate and do their best work in- Being a servant / egoless leader- Working alongside the team as a peer in whatever capacity is most needed (this gives me energy)The thread throughout my career has been using technology to solve problems, with a particular interest in applied ML/AI. I think some of my most formative experiences were as an end user of state-of-the-art AI systems at Amazon a decade ago, seeing how profoundly applied ML can create competitive advantages. For the next part of my career, I’m dedicating myself to using emerging AI technologies to solve pressing problems in the Jobs, Climate, Financial, and Healthcare spaces.
