Key Accomplishment:Tablex:From ground zero, owned and delivered the first phase of integration of AS-SO tablex from backend for a feature which involves creating tabulated and linked data from html pages. Involved a lot of legacy and complex code understanding for SO tablex backend , breaking code chunks and detailed documentation of the same and then presenting the same for Arch review. Stream Integration to SO backend.The integration of Stream to SO backend was completed within a single sprint which involved design discussions, implementation and coordination with internal as well as external teamsPDF to HTML conversion pipeline setup and enhancements.From the legacy code of a single large function, build up a new separate python 3 pipeline for PDF to HTML conversion which forms the base of our doc search. The pipeline is now available as a python 3 package which can be used by any third party and managed separately as well. The new conversion also brings huge latency benefits for users as now the loading time has decreased to almost 3x-5x and document size has decreased considerably as well due to new encodings.Also in the same context, did the same for the table extraction pipeline from PDF docs which can now be used as a separate pipeline for any doc pdf for table extraction.Abstracted the structure and processing code for Research report integrations which has brought down integration time to 0.5x for most of the new RR integrations. In addition to the faster pace of integration, there is an Abstraction layer to allow more code reusability, more flexible integration and much more robust (with respect to faulty pdf or time lag in uploads), with a lot of logging to ensure we have enough data points for debugging any issue.

Key AccomplishmentsDesigned and implemented a partitioned ETL which gave desired results of queries on 5huge different tables, making the actual response time of API to come around 4-7 secondsversus 50-60 seconds before the ETL.Designed and implemented various async triggering logic behind the by-product of themain dashboard like various different templates for email and the logic for their trigger basiscertain thresholds.Got onboarded to React (within the span of ~10 days) and implemented multiple pages onthe frontend of the dashboard using Architect UI (a react based analytics framework)Responsible for designing, project planning, task breakdown and distribution, and alsocommunicating timelines.Worked closely with the Data Science and Product team to close contracts on how thesystem would behave and what would be configurable, from both UX and implementationpoint of view.
