Worked for Department of Sustainable Biomaterials researching with the focus on exports and market diversification for factory built wooden construction systems to developing countries. The study aimed at developing a viable strategy driving business plan to use panelized construction system in massive social housing projects in urban markets of developing countries in Latin America.

Abellon's representative in Work Program III of US-India Joint Consortium for Development of Sustainable Advanced Lignocellulosic Biofuels.My responsibilities in this project included:-a) Economic evaluation and modeling of feedstock cultivation from marginal ecology of Gujarat state of India to be used for the production of Biofuel.b) Life Cycle Assessment of a biofuel value chain using SimaPro.c) Supply chain design and optimization for the production of lignocellulosic biofuel from the feedstock cultivated in marginal ecology of Gujarat state of India. Mathematical models were optimized using Mixed Integer Linear Programming (MILP). The models were also coupled with QGIS to use the geographical data and with Microsoft Excel spreadsheet.

Development of a logistic model for calculating final costs of energy or any value added product produced using biomass as a substrate and thus determine its economic feasibility. This model can also be used for a fiscal comparison between different conversion processes or doing sensitivity analysis on a single process.
