As Head of Economic Development and Tourism, I am responsible for the strategic development and facilitation of projects and strategies for the development of Sola municipality and the Greater region as an attractive living and working region. I work closely with businesses in Sola municipality and in the Greater region. I established visitsola.no to showcase Sola municipality and the surrounding region from an attractiveness perspective and I work strategically with larger projects in agriculture, competence upgrading in the region, tourism and destination development and industry.

As a director, I have a place in the management team in Validé and in the investment committee for our investment funds. Validé manages two early phase investment funds, and has invested in 300 + companies the last 10-12 years. The incubator annually makes a number of strategic investments in early-stage growth companies. I lead the incubator team and have the overall responsibility for the development and implementation of the business and supervisor programs for around 70 early growth companies annually. This also entails responsibility for coordinating and acquiring content providers with expert business knowledge on an annual basis from all over the Norway. These are resources included in the business development programmes to provide companies with the necessary expertise, investment leads and experience for growth.I have the responsibility for raising public and private funds as well as sponsorship funds for Validé's incubator. Validé is a non-profit company. The mission is to develop commercial start up and growth companies in Norway, from industry, entrepreneurs and researchers, in the energy, health, food, tourism and smart technology segments.

Founded and established Norway's first business accelerator. ITSAccelerator currently has two programs; ITSA Start for startups and ITSA Growth for early phase growth companies. ITSAccelerator has a national catchment area and has been running annual business development programmes focusing on capital raising since January 2016.

RAS - Regional Stage for Contemporary Dance, presents, produces and coproduces Norwegian and international contemporary dance . On assignment from the manager in Sandnes kulturhus, I prepared and founded the project RAS - Regional Arena for Contemporary Dance in the autumn of 2006. In the spring of 2007, I was employed as manager of RAS. I founded the stage for contemporary dance and in the course of almost four years the stage was established as a recognized regional and national stage for contemporary dance with a versatile dance program consisting of regional, national and international dance companies on the programme. The National Ballet, Carteblanche, Jasmin Vardimon Company, Batsheva Dance Company and the Cullberg Ballet were among others on the programme. As manager and booking officer, I brought in public and state financial funds for the operation of the stage.
