As a continuation of my thesis, this project involved the enhancement of a MATLAB-based software package from the PVMD group. The objective was to accurately model solar energy yield from PV panels with non-periodic properties, such as the ones installed in urban environments. This project also included the addition of other capabilities, such as modelling re-configurable PV modules and visualising the degradation of PV panels across their lifetime.
