As an Assistant Professor in New Testament Studies at Göteborgs universitet, I have been conducting and publishing original research on the historical, cultural, and linguistic aspects of crucifixion in antiquity for over a decade. I am the author of Crucifixion in Antiquity, a comprehensive and groundbreaking study that challenges the conventional understanding of the terminology and practice of crucifixion in ancient texts and sources. My work has received international recognition and media attention, and has provoked scholarly debate and dialogue.I have also been teaching and lecturing on various topics related to the New Testament, the Old Testament, and the history of the ancient Mediterranean world for more than 30 years, both in academic and church-related settings. I have a strong background in classical languages, such as Greek, Latin, and Hebrew, and I am proficient in academic writing and course development. I am passionate about advancing the knowledge and appreciation of the biblical texts and their historical and theological contexts, and I am open to collaborate with other researchers and institutions in this field.
