I spent the first twenty years of my career in the group benefits consulting industry providing clients with strategic advice on managing their benefits programs, with specialties in retiree benefit plans, strategic plan design, flexible benefits programs, drug plan management, and communications. In 2017 I joined the Alberta Retired Teachers' Association, a vibrant member-centric organization to whom I consulted for over a decade, as their Chief Operating Officer and Director of Member Services, using my group benefits experience to ensure the ARTA Retiree Benefits Plan continues to be the best retiree benefits plan in the province, if not the country.I hold a Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) designation and a Life and Accident & Sickness license. I have previously served as President of the Alberta Chapter of the International Society of Certified Employee Benefit Specialists (ISCEBS).
