While the IT landscape becomes more complex so does cybersecurity. With the help of my team I work to prevent and resolve cyber incidents. Filling roles as required, from project manager to L3 incident handler, my team and I are here to get the job done.

As part of the Capgemini cybersecurity team, I help our clients better understand their needs and help improve their cybersecurity posture. From helping clients establish information security policies to establishing holistic incident response planning, I aim to help every step of the way.

The VRee Foundation is a non-profit foundation that focuses on creating new solutions directed towards healthcare. Solutions that are founded by intersecting technology and healthcare alike.The first venture originated out of the VRee Foundation is a startup called BeVRee. This projects focuses on creating a better rehabilitation process for children with cerebral afflictions. This all through virtual reality. Why virtual reality?Researches have shown that if a patient uses visualization as a means to re-learn skills it improves the time of obtainment. By immersing the patient in a virtual world we can make the process more challenging, motivating and fun. Hereby creating a positive atmosphere for both the patient and all the parties involved.With BeVRee and The VRee Foundation we want to bring these solutions to the market. Developing, funding and launching VR games for the benefit of the children.

As a Cybersecurity advisor, Sebastiaan has performed DigID-Audits, ISO27k Audits as well as development of Incident Response plans, EDR monitoring strategies and Security training programs. Ensuring a risk based approach to clients security and compliance needs.

As an IT Auditor, Sebastiaan was tasked with interviewing clients and gathering evidence to test IT General Controls of clients financial IT systems. The resulting assurance statements allowed the financial audit team to place reliance on these systems in their annual audit activities.

As part of the FormulaFPV team my main role is to help in the development of IT solutions and manage the assigned task force. This involves hands on development of web-based solutions and reporting on a regular basis to ensure ongoing development.I am also expected to engage challenges outside my main job role. This involves helping with Drone Racing events by managing expectations of our pilots and the crowd. When needed I have also represented FormulaFPV towards potential sponsors and partners to find a way to create value for all parties involved.

As part of my Master thesis I researched the trade-off between security and usability on an Executive level. In my research I have worked with various multinational companies as well as some smaller ones to insure a good sample size on which to base my findings.
