CA Cloud Service ManagementSpearheaded the scalability and performance improvements for CA Cloud Service Management. Redesigned the multi-tenant data source connection management for the application with improved security and scalability by drastically reducing active data base connections from 10000 to less than 1000 for the entire application suite with an ability switch between different type of management to balance between performance and scale in Clover Release.Restructured the caching algorithm to reduce the heap memory consumption of the application from 20 GB on no load to less 900 MB on no load in Dragonfly Release. Designed an implemented adaptive startup mechanism and optimized release upgrade mechanism to bring down release upgrade time from 8 hours to less than an hour in Dragonfly Release. Improved the performance of ODATA API calls by 20 % for 80 percentile of the expensive APIs. Refactored DB structure and did optimization of queries to survive the peak load and ensure consistent performance across Ticket Center, Service Center and SLA modules. Proposed and initiated the work for a redesigned partitioned tenant data store for horizontal scaling initiatives using multiple Availability Group across the available servers which up on implementation reduced the CPU usage of Database from 95% to around 50% on business hours
