Oversaw Facilities and Dietary departments in addition to Sr. Director Logistics responsibilities as noted below. Responsible for all support services functions associated with Trustbridge Hospice operations servicing 1800+ patients daily across two Counties. Directed teams to ensure optimum efficiencies using lean methodologies. Utilized existing synergies to provide best in class service to patients, families and internal customers. • Responsible for effective control and operations of Logistics, Facilities and Dietary departments.• Spearheaded conversion to a real-time, bar code-based delivery/routing/inventory management system, eliminating dual entry and saving approximately $160K annually • Created and managed operating and capital budgets for multiple cost centers totaling $20 Million dollars. • Incorporated lean methodologies in all areas to develop key performance metrics. • Established satellite warehouse facility – eliminating 3rd party DME services saving $250K annually. • Oversight for all facilities functions, 17 locations totaling 380K sq ft across two counties.• Responsible for facility maintenance, renovations, lease renewals, property sales and subleases. • Right sized facility footprint, successful sale of a $2.1 million dollar building and sub-lease of other underutilized space.• Spearheaded the sourcing and installation of generators for multiple locations creating continuity of care in the event of a city power loss.• Spearheaded a $400K distribution facility renovation using tenant improvement dollars acquired through lease renewal negotiations – improved product flow and efficiencies. • Created and implemented a career ladder program for multiple positions providing a clear path for career progression.
