George Morcos is a senior at the University of Pennsylvania studying molecular & cell biology, classics, and nutrition. His interests lie broadly in medicine and healthcare with an emphasis on research, healthcare delivery & management, and entrepreneurship.He is currently a member of the Koumenis Lab in Penn Medicine's department of Radiation Oncology but has also conducted research projects in nanomedicine, cancer imaging and immunotherapy, cardio-immunology, microbiology, and laser optics at a variety of academic institutions around the U.S. Outside of these academic interests, he enjoys learning and conducting hands-on projects in archaeology, tutoring, mentorship, and volunteering in the West Philadelphia community. In his free time, he likes to run, workout, and spend time with friends and family.
