About Greg Santos

Greg Santos is a poet, editor, and educator. His newest book, GHOST FACE, was published by DC Books in Fall 2020. He is the author of the poetry pamphlet BLACKBIRDS (2018), two full-length collections RABBIT PUNCH! (2014) and THE EMPEROR'S SOFA (2010), and two chapbooks, TWEET TWEET TWEET (2011) and OBLIVION AVENUE (2008). His writing has been featured in The Walrus, World Literature Today, This Magazine, Geist, McSweeney's, The Best American Poetry Blog, Cha: An Asian Literary Journal, The Feathertale Review, Vallum, Queen's Quarterly, and the Canadian Parliamentary Poet Laureate website. Greg was the longtime poetry editor for the Quebec Writers' Federation's online literary journal, carte blanche. He is currently the Editor in Chief of the magazine. He has also been an editor for the New York-based journal, pax americana, the Paris-based journal, Upstairs at Duroc, and Palimpsest, Yale University’s graduate arts and literary journal. He has taught creative writing to diverse communities through organizations including QWF’s Writers in the Community program, The Blue Metropolis Foundation's Quebec Roots project, Vallum Society for Education in Arts & Letters, New Haven Reads, LOVE: Leave Out Violence, and the International Festival of Arts and Ideas. He has been a course designer and leader at the Thomas More Institute.Greg holds an MFA in Creative Writing from The New School (New York, NY) and has studied at Columbia (New York, NY), Concordia (Montreal, QC) and Mount Allison (Sackville, NB) universities. He has lived in Eastern Canada, New England, and France.He currently resides in Montreal with his wife and two children.
