Career Summary I have worked for the last 20 years in technology primarily as a data engineer, software developer, and BI Architect. Most of my work has involved star schema data warehouse design, some document DB and mid-tier services work, and big data+ IoT streaming architectures. For the last eight years as a consultant and manager, I have worked primarily in Azure technologies, but have delivered solutions in many different heterogenous environments for a wide range of clients including Graph/Document DB’s, and Spark/Data Lake environments. I have been in several POC engagements directly with Microsoft and have delivered a variety of different projects and software solutions. I have experience in IoT, Streaming, and Big Data architecture, but also in project management, personnel management, and contract quotation, estimation, and cost structuring. Over the last 2 years I have started educating myself in the Data Science realm. I have recently finished several courses in Machine Learning and have also extended (or refreshed) many of my math skills including Linear Algebra, Geometry, and Calculus. In addition, I have completed several certifications in Python programming and worked in several different Python IDE’s and environments.
