The roles and responsibilities of my job are multi-faceted. One side is customer based sales, selling lighting control gear and accessories from wire and lamp holders through to ballasts and fittings to an existing and expanding customer base of electrical wholesalers and electrical contractors nationwide, helping them specify and source the products required for a range of applications. The other includes running and working in the production workshop building bespoke lighting solutions for commercial customers, making sure that all timescales are met, contracting in other production assistants for larger bulk orders and also to give after sales technical support to customers needing help and advice with products

my main duties include checking in all hire returns and collating all required items before despatch, I also spent time when possible helping within the moving light section of the company. This involved fault finding, repairing and preparing the moving lights to go out on hire, I have also spent time within the control section of the warehouse in which I worked on stage effects LED lighting and most DMX controlled equipment.
