Continuing PhD, new project: “Do n-3 fatty acids have a potential in treatment of cancer”Main focus; study cellular signalling pathways affected by the polyunsaturated fatty acid docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) in cell lines established from colon cancer. The aim was to better understand by which mechanisms DHA may inhibit the growth of colon cancer cells.siRNA was used as one tool.
