Years ago, I was advised to major in something I enjoyed in college because what you get your degree in does not need to be your lifetime career choice. My Bachelors in Geography now reflects better on Trivia night than in my daily work but the lesson I learned was to follow my passion and talents, not a set career path. Through my journey, I’ve gained skills and extensive knowledge in a variety of area. Taking on the projects that fill a need in my organization but were outside my direct responsibilities opened many doors. In addition, I’ve learned the parts of my job that bring joy like coaching, mentorship, project management and believing in the mission of my organization and work. My passion for empowering people to make positive contributions to this world drives me every day as a Professional Coach. My specialties include coaching indviduals through life transitions, organizational strategy, fund-raising, community engagement, team building, Leadership and Training, Nonprofit Organizations & strategic planning, and working with diverse populations across organizational boundaries. I cannot wait to see what I learn I love next.
