Acquired by Woven by Toyota (Summer 2021)CARMERA builds “living” HD Maps by maintaining the world’s most robust real-time, street-level intelligence platform. Through an owned and professionally crowdsourced vehicular sensor network, the platform is continually expanded and refreshed to reflect real-world conditions.My team develops internal tools and pipelines that enable our products to respond to minute-to-minute changes in our data. We utilize many AWS services, primarily use Python to run our backend, and always stay open to suggestions and new ideas. We come from a diverse set of backgrounds, and have used this advantage to keep our workflows current and agile.

Acquired by 3D printing giant Stratasys (NASDAQ:SSYS)Led development for a complete overhaul of our back-end infrastructure, moving an aging, fully PHP codebase to smaller, modular services, built using Node.js, Rails, or the best tool for the job. With a focus on speed and maintainability, fellow developers were given copious amounts of freedom to learn and utilize new technologies, fostering a great environment. Furthermore, worked alongside the Thingiverse team to push MakerBot's ecosystem forward towards our goals.Earlier on, led a gradual upgrade of our front-end, incorporating modern libraries and development practices, notably a gulp.js build process and faster, minimal frameworks. The success of this project allowed my team to apply our concepts to larger domains, triggering our aforementioned back-end renovation.

Developed the front-end of web applications under clients' direction and own ideas. Utilized the Bootstrap framework, allowing for modern designs incorporating HTML5, CSS3, and jQuery. Equal time spent on back-end (C# / SQL) work, co-leading these projects with fellow developers. Developed a Google Calendar-based system for technology classroom management, currently in use on ClickITco.com.

Worked on a headquarters IT support team developing internal OLAP applications designed to meet the needs of management, IT, and human resources. Through significant collaboration between departments (including international offices), four vital program deliverables were completed during my term. By employing proprietary QlikTech software, these projects monitored company-wide cell phone usage to eliminate excess costs, elegantly displayed safety reports for worldwide mining sites, and managed internal IT support tickets.
