Managed the personnel and marketing functions at a water theme park, which features eleven attractions, three concession stands, and an 18 hole adventure golf course. Responsibilities included: · Hiring, scheduling and supervising 185 full-time, seasonal team members. · Training team members on all aspects of park operations including company policies, safety, food services, quality service, and hospitality. · Developed a team hospitality guidebook and quality standard guidelines. · Responsible for the preparation of weekly payroll. · Developed a team motivation seminar to educate team leaders on how to maintain team members' motivation and commitment to the job. · Marketing all facets of the water theme park and adventure golf course including the creation of press releases, daily promotions, group sales, and design and layout of all newspaper and radio advertising · Created a park mascot in celebration of the water theme parks 15th anniversary celebration.

Managed the daily operations of a 125,000 sq. ft. family entertainment center, which consisted of two regulation ice rinks, a pro shop, an arcade, and a restaurant. Specific duties included: Directing the day to day operation of eight departments, through the management of twelve supervisors and 187 team members.Training upper level supervisors and team leaders.Developed a training program for front line team members.Daily meetings with department supervisors to plan and direct the goals and objectives of the company.Work with chief financial officer to plan budgets and strategies to achieve company goals.Monthly meetings with investors to review actual operating results in accordance with their business plan.
