I teach the Intro to Sports Business class at St. Louis University. My co-teacher (Adam Jacobs - St. Louis Rams) and I show the students the various aspects of working in sports business and immerse them in semester-long projects. We are lucky to have senior executives from sports and business who participate in speaking, judging and mentoring the students. This gives the students real-world knowledge and tremendous networking opportunities.

I teach several Entrepreneurship classes at St. Louis University, to Undergrads and Masters students. The program has been nationally ranked in the top 20 Entrepreneurship programs for over 10 years. In 2016, we are ranked #7 in the nation by U.S. News & World Report, and we are proud to count several current, student businesses that have received investment by Warren Buffet and the "Sharks" on the TV show Shark Tank.In my Intro to Entrepreneurship class, students learn about Entrepreneurship and networking while interacting with numerous successful entrepreneurs through the Guest Speaker Series.In my Advanced Business Planning class, students develop comprehensive Business Plans that are graded by judges in their industry. Judges include Investors, Customers, Partners, and Community Leaders, and the grading system is simply - if a judge is willing to sign on a dotted-line, then the student receives an 'A.' The grade drops with the level of interest dropping.

I started as a Business Development Intern working my way up in five years to become head of Strategic Planning for the Missouri District. I was involved in the development of the organization’s business plans, market plans, and strategic plans.
