• Developed projects for the manufacturing and refurbishment of turbines and other components for nuclear, hydro and gas power generating plants, such as rotors, shafts, frames and casings. They included CAD drawings made with ProEngineer and AutoCAD, detailed instructions on inspection, non-destructive testing, sampling of materials, machining and assembly operations, heat treatments, starting with the rough materials up to the finished products. • Coordinated and executed new and refurbishment projects for major customers including General Electric, Westinghouse and Alstom Power, as well as the Cernavoda Nuclear Power Plant which was designed by Atomic Energy of Canada Limited (AECL).• Provided engineering and technical support to the machining departments and made recommendations during the design, commissioning and operation of power plant equipment.• Troubleshot product and production non-conformities.
