Manager, Safety & Operational ReliabilityEnbridge Gas Nov 2015 - Oct 2019Moncton, New Brunswick, CanadaIn my role as Manager, Safety & Operational Reliability, I was responsible for development and implementation of our Safety & Environmental programs, Technical Training & Operator Qualification programs, Field Quality Assurance program, Pipeline Integrity and Damage Prevention Programs, Emergency Preparedness, Distribution System Planning and Records development, and all related departmental planning and budgeting. Achieving across all these areas required building strong productive relationships across all levels of all levels of our local and corporate structures. - Employing a positive proactive approach and a continuous Improvement mindset, my colleagues and I were able to implement many new and updated safety training programs, increased safety awareness, and rollout safety recognition initiatives. Through this period, we also standardized our approach to incident and near miss investigations with a focus toward root cause analysis and corrective actions.
