I have been in the software development industry for 15+ years. I am proficient at database-driven programming with PHP on the back-end as well as the use of JavaScript, CSS and HTML scripting on the front-end. I also have a high aptitude for learning new languages. I enjoy and am determined to find pragmatic solutions to real-world problems. Nothing gives me greater satisfaction than developing a solution that makes a real difference. I subscribe to the agile methodology emphasizing test-driven programming and continuous integration, and am always excited to try new things. My philosophy on software development is that you shot for superior code and maintain great code; which will always continue to change.The crowning achievement in my career has been the development and integration of award-winning parental control software into McAfee’s portfolio known as McAfee Family Protection® (MFP). But I don't want that to be my last achievement. So I'm looking for that next opportunity. If you have one, I'd like to hear more about it.
