Re-labeled and inventoried chemical wares such that they were in compliance with the new Global Harmonized System (GHS), as set out by the Occupational Health and Safety Administration's (OSHA) revised hazard communication requirements in 29 CFR sec.1910.1200.Aided in record keeping and other compliance requirements as mandated by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in 40 CFR sects. 261-262 for site-specific waste streams, which included non-hazardous, hazardous, and universal waste.Collected and organized compliance data on potential vendors for a corporate waste management bid for seven of our American research and manufacturing locations.Assisted in packaging and record keeping of dangerous goods for shipment as required by the Department of Transportation (DOT) set out in 49 CFR sec. 172.Collaborated with a contractor to create Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) equipment specific procedures.Designed Affected and Authorized employee training materials and documented training as required by OSHA in 29 CFR sec. 1910.147.Ensured locks for LOTO were in compliance, distributed to Authorized personnel; and that all required documentation was in place.Contributed to community outreach programing, other employee training, crisis management preparation, emergency response, and employee incident reporting as directed.
