We specialize in projects in historic districts with difficult zoning regulations, restoring and re-tasking older commercial property,and building & designing unique custom homes.Currently,we are converting a WW1 bomb factory into a mixed use complex. The most satisfactory part of my work is marrying the historic architectural uniqueness of a property while renovating in the features needed by today's users and doing it well.Most renovation projects are held in our own Real Estate portfolio as income producing investment properties; while others are renovated and managed for other investors. We are lean and utilize the latest in technology to keep overhead and manpower low.Real Estate Development to me is about knowing what needs to be developed five years from now, not yesterday and where. Being successful at it comes by creating a quality product and then making sure the message gets delivered to the desired targeted demographic.Urban Renewal - When I take on an urban renovation and renewal project it is all about the history; I thoroughly research the building's past uses and original design and the lives it has lived as well as the neighborhood in which it sits. I then introduce those stories back into the design and use for the building. I try and marry the past with what the building needs to deliver today; while making sure the current users understand the buildings past history.
