Position Purpose:This position is responsible for providing operational and advisory support to the organisation in the implementation, management and evaluation of the integrated Risk Management and Compliance Program of CFC Mining Services and Construction. The Manager, Risk and Compliance is expected to foster a culture of quality improvement within all sections of the organisation. The position includes the development, implementation and maintenance of quality plans and procedures that allow the organisation to respond to industry standards, relevant legislation and current best practice. The Manager, Risk and Compliance is required to contribute to the organisational strategic planning process to ensure that quality improvement is part of everything we do. In particular the position will ensure that CFC Mining Services and Construction:Complies with the AS/NZS 4801 2001 Occupational Health & Safety Management, and maintains its compliance.Complies with the AS/NZS ISO 9001 Quality Management, and maintains its compliance.Complies with the AS/NZS 14001 Environmental Management, and maintains its compliance.Complies with the AS/NZS ISO 31000:2009 Risk management - Principles and guidelines, and maintains its compliance.Complies with all relevant legislation, including OHS, privacy, anti-discrimination, so that there is complete compliance.Fosters a culture of continuous improvement within the organisation, which is documented and implemented as part of the Quality Plan.
