Globant is a big consulting company that has an important and growing Salesforce department. To enter the company, I had to pass a 3 day full coding challenge in which I didn’t sleep, but it was totally worth it. That was my first experience with Salesforce and I had to go through a one month training first. Once I was ready, they started assigning me to different projects. TOYOTA My most important project in this period was with Toyota. They were using Salesforce with their dealers to keep track of their car sales. I learned there the lifecycle of an opportunity and started to take a look at Service Cloud. My main tasks here were to maintain the Experience site where the dealers managed the sales and to create a new site where the Toyota clients could earn points with their purchases and then exchange them in the site for prizes that could be seen there. It was very fun! SIKA AC A few months later, I got changed to the Sika project, because I got recommended by my leader when they asked for someone with fluent english. Sika is a company that sells construction materials for houses in the US, and they have a Community Site for their contractor builders to apply for the opportunities (A request from a client that needs the service). They can send their Quotes and wait for the client to select the one they prefer. My main work here was to maintain that site and to make enhancements to the flows that worked on the background of the site. VIACOM This is a project that I supported on the side while I was working with Toyota. Basically they needed someone with front-end and design knowledge (I’m not a designer, but I have a really good eye for these things), to build some Visualforce Pages that could be public and sent through email for an external approval of new TV episodes.
