Managing the higher education program in China, which is part of the corporate Education initiative in China aiming at developing talents for the 21st Century. Working closely with PRC universities on joint education and research projects, setting up and managing student/faculty programs, arranging various academic events such as forums, student contests...etc. Working extensively with China and Corporate internal business groups such as research labs, product groups and staffing in designing and driving various programs through close collaborations with universities. Working closely with Chinese government and academia, building up and maintaining relationship with government and the key universities.

• University collaboration: Responsible for overall connection, communication and collaboration with several top universities in China, including Tsinghua University. Won “Microsoft Gold Star Award” in 2007 for successfully organized Bill Gates’ visit to Tsinghua University in April 2007. • Internet Services Theme Research Program:  Currently have built collaboration with 50+ faculty members in some 30 universities in the Asia-Pacific region with the help of local UR managers. In August 2007, organized a MSRA-Tsinghua Workshop on Internet Services, which was recognized by MSRA managing director as “UR of the Year” during the MSRA annual meeting in September 2007. • Joint Lab Program:  Currently have set up joint lab with 10 top universities in China. Three of them were upgraded to become China MOE key lab in April 2008. In total, 8 labs have been upgraded. • Campus Visit Program: Coordinated the MSRA campus visit in past 3 years, more than 30,000 students were engaged through the activities during the visits• Computing in 21st Century Conference (21CCC):  More than 3000 students participated in 21CCC at Tsinghua University in 2006 and more than 2000 students participated in 21CCC at Nanjing in 2007. Being the one who was responsible for the overall attendee invitation. • Supervise Microsoft Technology Club on campus Supervise 7 Microsoft Technology Clubs on campus
