Shan Guan is the CTO of CWD, a company that has developed a new class of speed reducers with superior performance and efficiency. With over 19 years of experience in various technical fields, Shan leads the technical vision and strategy of CWD, applying his expertise in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and materials science to design, fabricate, and test CWD's products.Before joining CWD in 2018, Shan worked at DNV GL, where he managed projects on pipelines assessment and applications of sensors for different industries, and at Eastman Kodak Company, where he worked on ink-jet printers development, and led the microfabrication team making MEMS-based print-heads. Shan has published over 50 papers and has been awarded 20 patents. He is passionate about creating innovative and sustainable solutions for various sectors using his knowledge and skills across multiple technical fields.
