Responsible for the evaluation, reformation and expansion of the Property Tax Appeal system (CentOS, MySQL, Perl) that we developed in 2006. The strategy is to apply the guiding principles of DevOps (i.e. culture, measurement, automation and sharing) to support business processes, information flow, reporting, and data analytics.

Responsible for all operational aspects within the Technology group.• Manage the reformation of existing service lifecycle methods into DevOps practices through the reorientation of resources that include: 1) Migration of traditional infrastructure to a cloud computing platform using both Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure. 2) Implementation of newly adopted technologies (Ubuntu OS, Docker, Git, etc) to achieve Continuous Integration & Deployment. 3) Reconstruction of team responsibilities to adapt to the shift in paradigm.• Manage the team responsible for the support, maintenance and lifecycle of the company’s Data Warehouse / Business Intelligence (DW/BI) system using technologies such as Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) and Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). Developed and maintain ETL scripts that allowed integration of disparate data from various sources that ultimately provide meaningful and valuable information for the business. • Manage the team that support, maintain and configure Web Analytics throughout three platform migrations that started from IBM Unica, to Google Analytics (GA) Classic, to Google Universal Analytics (UA) via Google Tag Manager (GTM). Developed automated scripts that use various Google Big Query and Reporting API’s to extract, transform and load web analytics data into the company’s DW/BI system. • Manage the team that support, maintain and configure online advertising via DoubleClick for Publishers (DFP). Managed the advertising vendor migration from AdTech to DFP, and supervised the adaptation and implementation of Google Publisher Tags (GPT). Developed automated scripts designed to extract, transform and load advertising metrics into the company’s DW/BI system.

Manager and Application Developer in a wide variety of business applications that utilize client/server and relational database design. • Managed the Ad Ops team that support digital media technologies for the company as well as its affiliates, advertisers, agencies and publishers. The team is specifically responsible for: 1) Setting up digital marketing campaigns across display banners and rich media for over 1,000 websites throughout three platform migrations that started from Atlas to ADTECH to DoubleClick for Publishers (DFP). 2) Converting direct marketing email newsletter designs into HTML campaigns using XSLT technology via Silverpop. 3) Developing and maintaining web application tools and automated processes that provide efficiency and accuracy to campaign placement configurations. 4) Providing innovative and streamlined solutions that maximize the value of inventory to surpass advertiser and affiliate expectations. • Managed the Tech Ops team that is responsible for: 1) Setting up affiliate co-branded websites that showcase and deliver the company’s products. 2) Developing and maintaining Perl scripts that convert raw data into MSSQL database records which is a major source of revenue for the company. 3) Providing technical support on data delivery and web site configuration issues.• Applied extensive experience with web application development using Perl/CGI running in Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) and connected to a Microsoft SQL Server database. Organized and streamlined team responsibilities by developing and maintaining a web application called Legacy Affiliate Management Program (LAMP) that automated key system processes. The application also provides centralized information and vital functions to other departments.

The web application was written in Perl/CGI on a Linux server (connected to a MySQl database) and streaming HTML and JavaScript to the client side. • Designed and developed in-house tools in Windows and Linux (written in Perl) that monitors network, database and server connectivity ensuring application integrity.• Developed Perl scripts that collected information from various websites and convert data into MySQL database records.

• Technical support for Spiegel Catalog, Eddie Bauer and Newport News Inc. ecommerce web sites. Responded to call center problem tickets on issues such as Web Server, Database and Application availability as well as network connectivity. Involved in server performance evaluation and load testing. • Web application developer for the company’s Intranet that served all departments, plus 24/7 support for customer call center applications. Developed web applications in ASP and Perl/CGI on a Windows server (connected to a MS SQL database) and streaming HTML/JavaScript to the client side.• Developed automated systems using Perl and JCL that consolidated and processed data from various sources under different platforms (Windows 2000, UNIX, Mainframe) to produce centralized web based reports and data feeds.

• Developed automated systems that consolidated and processed data from various sources under different platforms to produce centralized web based reports on Network Application Performance and SLA for management and IBM clients. This eliminated redundant reports and provided crucial information on a timely manner. • Developed a variety of programs that automated data entry and retrieval for the Interactive Financial Services (IFS) Helpdesk. The system minimized the need for extensive training that allowed immediate dispatching of newly hired customer service representatives. Customer assistance time improved by at least 90%.
