My name is Gaurav Kumar, ICSSR Doctorate fellow and UGC NET qualified in Journalism and Mass Communication.I am pursuing my Ph.D. from Gautam Buddha University, Greater Noida in the Department of Mass Communication and media studies. My thesis title is “Media Literacy and Fake News: A Study of Social Media Users in India” and also the research assistant at Gautam Buddha University. I have Presented the research paper at the 28th Asian Media Information and Communication conference (AMIC) on Science Communication Managing the Now and Future on the title of “Dimension of Environmental Organization Tweets: A content Analysis” which was held 27th November 2021 as well as Presented the research paper in International e-Conference as a co-author on the title of “ Social Media in Higher Education: A Study to explore students Perspective and Experience's” in MEDUNEP-2021 organized by the Department of Mass Communication, Rajiv Gandhi(Central) University, Doimukh, Arunachal Pradesh, India, which was held 15th-16th November 2021. I am a trainer in the Campaign of "BBC Young Reporter India Project" Programme an initiative launched by BBC News World Service in Partnership with Internews in collaboration with DataLeads. I am also a trainer at Factshala India Media Literacy Network since September 2020. I have conducted more than 15 pieces of training in Media Literacy in rural and urban areas. I have done my M.Phil. From Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Mass Communication Bhopal, M.P. in media studies (2019). During my M.Phil I have worked on fifteen Research papers on various topics and my 4 Research papers have been published in national and international journals. During my M.Phil I did work on many types of research papers based on fake news and fake content. I also attended some International and National seminars on fake news. I also attended many seminars which were based on various Research Methodology and tribal communities. I did participate in Pandit Kunjilal Dubey youth parliament, 2018, M.P. During my master's, I worked with the Dainik Janwani newspaper for 5 months in Meerut in which I used to design newspaper layouts and write articles. After working in the Janwani newspaper I did an internship in Community radio 96.9 Apna Radio, IIMC, New Delhi. During my Radio internship, I have experienced radio work. I did my MJMC from CCS university campus Meerut. During the masters, I participated in many programs of the media.
