Responsible for a team of buyer agents for fabrics (bulk) and accessories (collection and bulk), including the quality control of the incoming goods & quality control on the woven and knitted garments in collectionStock management for the fabrics and accessories Negotiation on prices for bulk deliveriesWeekly meetings with the production manager and the planning coordinatorResponsible for the approval on colours of the woven and knitted fabric during collection and bulk, and for the ready-to-dye process and washed denimOrganizing the wear tests on the collection garments & final responsibility for the care labels in the garments. Handling the quality complaints from shops or individual customers to continue improving the quality.

Responsible for on-time and cost-efficient production of the garments for each collection, and at the same time supporting and motivating a team of product developers Responsible for the time schedule of the stylists, including concept meeting, sketch review, sales meeting...and propose a collection budget per season Sourcing & purchasing the fabrics for each collection, discussing the lead-time for the bulkContacting the garment manufacturers to discuss price & time-to-delivery Calculation of end-consumer prices Organizing wear tests to guarantee the quality of the garments, if necessary solving problems with suppliers Transferring all collection info to the purchasing department and to the production departmentCommunicating what is hot and what is not using the facts&figures from the Hampton Bays shops
