My last project at university was mask detection and tracking using deep sort. Supervision of Sops was the basic objective of the project and to be able to identify the possible COVID-19 transmission hot-spots from processing videos and tweet about it on our handle. We aimed to detect people not wearing a mask.The model was trained on a custom dataset.There will be two sides to project: Front End - A simple Dashboard or web App, wherein one can upload a video and get the results in two forms.Stats about how many people are not wearing a mask and possible Covid-19 hot-spots.Processed video with mask and social distance violations annotations or highlights.Back End - A pipeline which takes in a video and processes it to detect mask and social distance violations and then predicts or calculates the vulnerabilities. We can also link it to twitter or Facebook to post about such vulnerable areas.
