After completing my placement year and coming back to Liverpool to complete my undergraduate degree, I returned to Crust. In my role as a supervisor I showed leadership skills when motivating and coaching my colleagues to reach the standard required by the company and support them on a daily basis.

As part of my undergraduate studies, my final year project consisted of working along side the managing director of the company on a business development strategy to bring new life to the historical building at Cains Brewery Village. After conducting thorough research, interviews and analysis, the team and I provided the company with a detailed report with all the possible options and outcomes.

Working on multiple sustainability projects related to the United Nations' SDGs, presenting them in form of the British Council. Moreover, I had the privilege of being selected to become representative of all UK students and, consequently, being interviewed in multiple occasions by the British Council at major event and during private companies and learning institutions visits.

This role gave me the opportunity to fully understand how Supply Chain works in a global organisation, gaining end-to-end exposure in 4 different teams, while working on projects including: 2 / 2Order to Cash and project - direct contact with customers, processing orders and dealing with queries. Worked on a project to implement the use of a bot to deal with order entry. Identifying and implementing process improvement. Plan to Build - liaising with all internal and external suppliers, taking into consideration present and future demand, shipping lead times and updates received during suppliers’ meetings. Analysing data to inform decision making and drive efficiencies. Source to Pay - taking care of the financial side of the previously created orders to satisfy the requirement from suppliers.Quality and project - dealt with non-conformances, delivering presentations based on data, take part in internal audits and interviews, and supported training of problem-solving techniques. Led a charity project, arranging activities for members of the company, while managing budget provided by the department and tracking progress towards the company goals.

After mastering roles like bartender and waiter, where I learned first handed customer service and communication skills, I was promoted to Supervisor. Role consisted of leading a team of 11-12 throughout the shift, opening and closing of the restaurant, including daily banking, customer satisfaction and supplier management.
