Since the company is under a transition from HB (fiscal year 2021 and 2022) to AB (2022), my role is to perform the accounting tasks for both the HB and AB, including day to day bookkeeping, scanning and filing invoices, receipts and other documents relates to the company's business transactions and taxes. I am also responsible for both HB's and AB's VAT declaration, year-end closing process including bank reconciliations, and preparation of the annual reports and the income declaration.

My role and responsibilities are to support the Executive Publisher and lead the team in:Editorial production/administration- Manage the content production circle from planning to publishing, stand for the editorials in company's daily briefing. - Record and file contacts, texts, photos and other materials.- Go independently on interviewing and follow-ups.- Cultivate sources and maintain good relationship with different stakeholders including readers, suppliers, sponsors, media and authorities.- Assign and collect articles/photos, arrange shootings.- Coordinate layout and graphic design.- Proofread.- Support marketing and sales departments on sponsored events. Marketing and branding - Ensure that the copywriting is tailored to the needs of the company's different business partners.Represent the magazine in both online and offline events to make tight connections with readers and business partners.Recruitment- Build up the editorial team for the magazine by coordinating job description, candidate interviewing and recruitment decision. Main achievements- Organization of the 2014 Beijing International School Choice Fair which involves 70+ schools and 8 000 visitors (16% and 40% up respectively from the year before).- Launch the website of the magazine.

The monthly ChinAfrica I worked for is published by Beijing Review in English and French to share fresh insights into the economic, social and cultural exchange between China and African countries. As journalist and editor, my role and responsibilities are:- Creating sources and pitching story ideas to reflect the vision of the magazine - Researching, interviewing, writing and editing news and feature stories- Working closely with art designers on the layout and visual presentations of the reported pieces - Publishing the reported pieces on the magazine's website (French version)- Engaging with communities and participating in marketing activities as assigned on behalf of Beijing Review
