I am passionate about building products and over the years, I’ve founded both a design consultancy and a software product business, where I learned how to influence, lead, and get people excited about a shared vision.I have experienced being at business from its foundation, which gave me a good understanding of the early phases of conceptualizing and setting up a business, delivering initial product offerings, early adoption, market go-live, scaling, and maintenance. I’ve hired, onboarded, mentored, and led, always aiming to bring out the best in people.At the product level, I’m hands-on with strategy, feature planning, and delivery, and I’ve led product and business roadmap alignment with senior management for quite a number of years. I keep documentation clear and organized using tools like Confluence, plan features and write user stories in Jira, and track progress to ensure delivery. I’m skilled at creating design systems, mockups, high-fidelity designs, and prototypes using Figma. I can also code. My front-end skills include React, Tailwind, Storybook, and Chromatic, and I have a strong understanding of AWS Bedrock, OpenSearch, Lambda, and how AI tools can integrate with users and databases with some hands-on configuration experience.I’m flexible and adaptable – I can shift between high-level strategy and the smallest details of the product, business, or development. More than anything, I’m a people person. I’m patient, supportive, and quick to build trust, which makes it easier to lead teams and influence outcomes. I enjoy working with others to solve problems.
