Since the end of July 2023, I am the Chairman of the Board of Quaestio Capital SGR S.p.A., an asset management company based in Milan serving mainly institutional clients, and of Quaestio Holding S.A., a company based in Luxembourg.I have been an Audit Partner at EY Assurance, with audit responsibility for top EY clients in the banking sector, up to 30 June 2023.I have also been a member of the Board of EY S.p.A., the Italian audit entity of the EY network.As the EY Market Leader of the Financial Services Organization (FSO) in Italy, I have overseen for nine years approximately 1.100 people of our four service lines devoted to the Italian financial market. I have also been for nine years the FSO Managing Director in the Board of EY S.p.A., and a Member of the EY EMEIA FSO Regional Leadership Team. I joined EY Italy in 1983 and became a Partner in January 1998. I have been FSO Italy Assurance leader from 2009 to 2011.I have served as a Partner on a number of assignments for the major Italian banks and for subsidiaries of major foreign financial groups, including audits, due diligence, valuations and consulting projects. I spent most of my professional life in Italy but had many and significant experiences abroad.
