Part of the sourcing and pricing team, managing a portfolio of 30 TWh gas & power p.a. and proactively working towards smart products with the business development unit at Powerhouse. In pursued of better load balancing of the portfolio, I developed a product to reduce intraday shaping risk. The project involved integrating company and client needs to a mutually beneficial hedging strategy.As the intraday trading for business customers pilot launched, I developed an algorithm which provided for the deal capture and billing. It involved data gathering from different sources, imbalance correction computations, and import into a latter system.I developed a pilot product, Belichting+, a tool that optimized day ahead power bidding for crop lighting using solar radiation forecasts.Furthermore my responsibilities involve:- Product manager intraday power market.- Responsible for back-to-back hedging of power, gas and sustainability certificates.- Give data driven insights about energy market developments to internal and external clients.- Support forecasting analyst of Market Selection.- Evaluating pricing methodologies of power, gas and sustainable products.- Implement End-2-End improvements using the LSS methodology.
