https://idealsproject.eu/IDEALS project is focused on promoting democratic values, social cohesion, active citizenship, and intercultural dialogue is crucially needed in schools across the Netherlands, Bulgaria, Italy, Turkey, and Romania. These countries have diverse populations, and promoting intercultural dialogue and social cohesion is essential to create a sense of unity and respect among individuals from different backgrounds. Additionally, the European Union emphasizes the importance of democratic values, social cohesion, and active citizenship in its policies and programs, and schools in these countries must prioritize the development of these values and skills in their educational programs.

https://dwebsocial.wixsite.com/digitrainerMotivation for the project:​​The motivation for the project revolves around the need to enhance digital skills and competencies among trainers and educators.It aims to address the challenges and gaps identified in the field of education, particularly in the context of the digital transformation of education (Education 4.0).The project is driven by the recognition that many trainers do not feel adequately prepared to use digital technologies, and there is a need to bridge this gap.

In order to achieve this goal, the Project will implement the following activities:O1 – Plastic footprint: a plastic footprint app will be developed to gather data on primary schools plastic behavior and investigate the waste disposal and recycle attitudes of primary schools.O2 – ‘Plastic-free school’ Recommendations and contest: the Consortium will develop a set ofGuidelines at management and students level to implement sustainable practices from both a top-down and bottom-up approaches. Furthermore, Partner and Associate schools will take part in a contest to identify the best STEAM solution addressing plastic-free challenges at school level.O3 – STEAM box and Lab: a set of innovative didactical tools and activities will be designed and used within the STEAM fields to be easily integrated into structured curricula of primary schools. The box will acknowledge pupils about the damages of unsustainable waste production and in particular of consuming single-use plastics and will develop key STEAM-related skills in pupils such as problem solving attitude. The STEAM box will be tested and used during the Labs in order to develop the solutions that will be presented at the Final Contest (E6).

www.bafos.euThe aim of BAFOS is to directly commit students in discussing the reasons for, and consequences of food loss and waste engaging them with the development of FoodWaste adventure game in Minecraft Education collection. Therefore, the project will also address the need to enhance knowledge of and about STEM as a precondition to prepare Europe’s population to be actively engaged and responsible citizens, creative and innovative, able to work collaboratively and fully aware of and conversant with the complex challenges facing society.

BUILDENT.eu seeks to develop key competences, by establishing good practices for better support of educational staff in their tasks and improving their education, for updating assessment and validation methods and tools, and for introducing new and innovative forms of teaching and learning needed for personal fulfilment, employability ,socio-educational and personal development, as well as participation in civic and social life. As a tool, it seeks to improve both digital and entrepreneurial competences motivating more young people and their teachers.
